Warranty, Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for purchasing a Tramontina product. We are committed to delivering quality products supported by consumer protection in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

This policy applies to products purchased from authorised Tramontina South Africa stores and online platforms.

Statutory Warranty

If a product is found to be defective or unsafe within the applicable period, the consumer may choose one of the following remedies:

• Repair
• Replacement
• Refund

Commercial & Product-Specific Warranties

Some Tramontina products may carry additional or extended warranty periods, which differ by product range.

Important:
Any additional warranty coverage or duration is clearly stated on the product packaging, instruction manual, or product description.
Not all products carry the same warranty period.

Customers are advised to retain all product packaging and proof of purchase for warranty reference.

What Is Covered

Warranty coverage applies to:

• Manufacturing defects
• Defects in materials or workmanship
• Faults arising under normal domestic use

Where applicable, Tramontina may repair, replace, or refund the product in line with CPA requirements.

What Is Not Covered

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper care
• Damage caused by overheating or failure to follow care instructions
• Cosmetic changes that do not affect performance (e.g. scratches, stains, discolouration)
• Commercial or professional use (unless specified)
• Consumable components such as coatings, seals, or gaskets, unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications

Please note: slight surface discolouration or yellowing caused by heat during normal use is harmless and does not affect performance.

Returns & Refunds

Defective Products

• Returns or exchanges for damaged or defective items must be reported and initiated within 7 business days of receipt. Tramontina reserves the right to decline requests received after this period.

• A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process refunds or exchanges.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer –  please refer to the section Courier Information for more information.

Non-Defective Returns

Returns for reasons such as incorrect purchase or change of mind are subject to:

• Items must be returned unused, unwashed, and in a resalable condition.
• Please ensure all original/undamaged packaging, tags, accessories, and any bonus gifts are included.

• A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process refunds or exchanges.

• Return courier costs carried by the customer.
• Tramontina will not accept items that have been misused.

Customised or personalised products are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Refund Process

• Refunds are processed once returned items are inspected and approved
• Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method or EFT
• Refunds are completed within 14 business days, subject to bank processing times
• Please note that courier fees are non-refundable.

How to Submit a Claim

To submit a warranty, return, or refund request, please contact:

• Proof of purchase or order number
• Description of the issue
• Photos or videos where applicable

Steps to Return an Item

• Carefully pack your item(s) in the original packaging.
• Once we receive your return, we will notify you via email and process your refund or exchange as soon as possible.
• Return your item(s) to the address provided below.
